I've got my 8lb actuator to put in too! had a bit of a geez, looks like the turbo will have to come off so you can get the waste gat con rod right!

I'd also be greatful for som step-by-step info if any one has any?

How much did you get your actuator for?

I have done this, and changed from the 4psi standard unit to a 9 psi upgraded one.

I did this while the engine was out of the car anyway, so it wasn't too difficult to do.

I would think that the actuator could possibly be accessed from underneath the car, but have not tried this myself.

We just rendered the wastegate redundant - used whatever boost the turbo could muster and tuned to suit................... :roflmbo:

Just kidding. Although, it isn't far from the truth! :roflmbo:

I have just booked in with Nizpro for an upgraded actuator (12psi) and all the business that goes with it (ported wastegate etc...), it's booked in for next Thursday, I'll report back with the results... I'm also getting the fuel pump upgraded at the same time...
