NO

MT = 15"

XR = 17 or 18" rims

I also do not think you could get a 15" to fit on the rear, I am sure that a min of 16" is needed to clear the brakes.

I tried some 15 inch wheels on my car a month or so ago for a guy on the forum asking the same thing. My 15 inch wheels cleared the brakes and all, close, but fine.

He ended up having to do some grinding for his particular wheels - but is using MTs on 15s.

when I was buying my new mags I sold my old ones to a mate, I used his 15inch AU rims on my car whilst I waited for new ones to come, I nearly cried once the 15s were on I started car to move into car port and it wouldn't move at all. first ijust put it in gear and was waiting for it to roll forward, but nothing so gave it a bit to get it goin still nothing I was like ummmm not good. lucky we figured out it was the rim causin the problem.. was all good when my 19s arrived! :)

If you change to XL rear brakes, you shouldn't have an issue..... Untill you want to stop..

just a bit confused to whether these slicks will fit on my xr6t

dimensions are 29.5/10.5/15 Mickey Thompson ET Drag slicks.

Thanks guys

29.5 is actually quite tall, so that's sketchy as it is, but 10.5 width wont fit under without some guard modification. 15 inchers can fit, depending on what sort of brakes it's wearing. ;)

15's with 28's should fit if you get the grinder out and pump the guards. 29.5's is seriously pushing it, I would think.

grinf the rear calipers that is :spoton: shouldnt affect the brakes, I've done this before but not to a T..... seen it done though
