I am told they will fit with the standard 17" wheels and will dramatically improve my braking performance. I did a track day last Friday @ Sandown and had serious brake fade after only 2 laps.I wondered if anybody has fitted these brake and if so, what are your thoughts? Thanks

Posted 08/08/06 04:20 AM Share Posted 08/08/06 04:20 AM (edited) Have you spoken to Simon about the brakes that he uses through the shop... they are called CSC or something like that... I'm looking at getting those towards the end of the year... around $2500 an end fitted. They seem like really good value. He has used them on quite a few T's that have come through his shop... and on his ute and on his wife's territory.Jack Edit-How did the track day go? I couldn't make it as I'm not allowed to drive at the minute because I've injured my foot... how many other cars made it? I think the offsets on the mkII rims make it more difficult to fit bigger breakes under - Nizpro will be able to confirm...The CSC's are good units and should have plenty of readily available pad choices - I would check the pad options and costs for the AP's (or any caliper) before buying them. What disc size are you contemplating to go with them?Cheers,Ben. AP Racing is owned by Brembo and from the research I have done are a great setup. They are well priced at $3,250 drive in, drive out. The have a large selection of pads available with different compounds.I am thinking maybe I should buy some bigger rims (18 or 19") and then get 356mm rotors.Still trying to make a decision.
