I do not agree with this move

But only time will tell

I hope I am proven wrong as Mark Webber is a great talent and an AUSSIE

It has been equipment that has been letting him down his whole career :idunno:

I just hope it doesnt continue next year

Mark Webber should be fine. At this stage we dont know how long his contract is and if things dont work out he will always be able to find another drive. I bet you he wins his first race next year. :spoton:

Adrian Newley has designed the new car for Red Bull next year...hope his talents work as well there as they did at MacLaren :spoton:

I think Kimi will get the drive at Renault :spoton:

Kimi will go to ferrari.

Kovalainen will take over from Alonso.

webber will do well at red bull. He was only ever going to get a seat at renault if both raikkonen and kovalainen said no to the seat. And we all knew that wasnt going to happen :nyyaah:

IMHO. kimi will be at renault next year because schui will not drive next to kimi and he isnt retiring next year (unless he wins the championship this year).

but this is why I love F1, especially this time of year :spit:

:gooff:

Whether it's through lack of Mechnical Sympathy, poor engineering or a combination of both he just doesn't seem to be able to hold it together for long enough. I think he has the driving skills just not the sympathy.

Mechnical sympathy.

What a load of crap.

That has nothing to do with it.

Been a long time since I've seen a private team win with a factory supplied motor...and that is why it will be hard to win in a Red Bull whether its a ferrari motor or Renault...time will tell but either way he'll be up against it :makedeal:

Mark Webber is really an unsung hero for this country and a lot of Australiana’s don’t really understand how well he represents this county in F1.

im not questioning his sporting morals. I, as a webber fan, am concerned he hasnt made the best decision (or has had his hand forced) for his career.

you need a level of continuity in a team. Now Mark knows all the staffs at Red-Bull. (Formally Jaguar racing) He would need to learn the name of 300 new staff at Renault if he had a chance to drive there this would be a set back.

if he needs continuity in a team so much, he would of stayed at williams.

are you suggesting that not one member of the jaguar team has changed since mark was last there. new boss, new designer, new engineering chef, etc, etc.

If I had the choice of red bull and knowing the name of the truck driver - or renault (world champions) but having to learn the truck drivers name...tough one!

Adrian Newey is now the new chief chassis and aerodynamicist at Red-Bull racing, for those who don’t know much about Adrian his cars won 6 out of 10 of the constructor titles from 1990 to 2000 with Williams and Mclaren

his last championship winnning car was 7 years ago. he threatened to leave mclaren several times on the basis he wasnt interested in f1 anymore (wanted to design yaghts if im not mistaken). Not saying he's bad... he's very good... but so's mike gascoyne and it took him quite some time to "build" a good race car up.

Mark would have good support from David Coulthard more so than if he was partnered with Giancarlo Fisichella as I feel that David is much more experienced and consistent.

mark is not the number one driver at red bull so he wont have any "support" from DC. personally I would have liked to see mark at renault because we can all agree he would of wiped the floor with fishingkella and his stocks as a driver would of increased. Now if he doesnt perform as well as DC (probable, seeing DC has been there for 2 seasons already, knows the car, knows the designer, knows the engineers) mark will be looked at as a driver who cant beat a man thought to be at the end of his career two years ago!. not good for MW.

Truth is Red-Bull have money, a solid B-team for testing, and don’t forget they also own Toro Roso which is a big development project for Red-Bull.

toyota has money too. so did BAR when they first arrived. things have gone swimmingly for these two teams!.

B team - "Solid" - ????

Torro Rosso - development project - V10 engines from last year - ???????????????
