I don't think that's right. "Daytime Running Lights"? The sort that switch on when a vehicle is indicating? There are several makes and models of cars that have Daytime Running Lights installed alongside Fog Lights. As stated earlier on in this thread though, they illuminate out to the side Ie the fog lines during fog. This ability in non foggy conditions, illuminates the side of the road where dogs, pedestrians, dark clothed individuals who see fit to run at night, and so on. In a dimly lit suburban street. Fog lights are brilliant in giving the driver that much better situational awareness.I have driven with them on anight for as long as I can remeber, everytime I read a thread like this then I turn them off, not wanting to be a law breaker and end up turning them on again as they reaaly alow more vision to the sides of the road.
