falcon73 Member 163 Member For: 18y 7m 18d Posted 25/11/06 01:33 AM Author Share Posted 25/11/06 01:33 AM Finally got the bugger put on, and boy am I happy with the results, after 6 months of working and waiting it was all worth it,The sound is that of an angry hornet, the power gains are much better than I expected especially from 2500 to 3000rpm onwards. The system was pacies, 3 inch magnaflow cat, twin 2.25 inch XR8 system,I put it on myself and built the centre section from the pacies to the centre flange and when fitting it came to a measley 30mm short so the guys at fat pipes touched it up for me for $50.00, so all up the cost was $330.00 installed. But WOW does she hammer now I have put on the 3 inch air intake pipe as well smooth and clean I have the induction roar and the exhaust note to go with it.So you can say I am happy with the result. It seems to poke out a bit but having a look the xr6 rear lip actually angles out where the ba doesent any how I am happy with it and she is slowly coming together Edited 23/12/06 02:07 AM by falcon73
