As for the DTS vs. the F6, it takes almost a competition spec HSV to beat a stock F6. The DTS should have won PCOTY, but it didn't.

The ONLY reason the DTS beat the f6 around the track is the DTS had $800+ a corner race spec tyres. Tyres will make a HUGE difference to any car.

I bet a XT Falcon would beat the DTS around a track, if it had slicks on. It is not the straight line performance, its the cornering speed that delivers fast times.
