they can build what ever they like, but its gunna be a long time before you can buy a V8 commodore, spend $2000 odd on it and make over 400 rwhp like you can in a phoon.

They will be licking the phoons arse for a while to be yet.

No, but you will be able to buy a Twin Turbo V6 Commodore, and do it.. And that is where the competition for a 'T' will lie.

All Ford have to worry about is getting a V8 to match the New VE, the T can look after it's self..

For me, the new VE is a good looking car, and a pretty big step forward.. A nice responsive TTSS will be a good package..

I think the hardest thing for Ford to do is to bring out another model that can match the impact of the BA.

Hopefully we will never see another AU type advancement.

Im not sure if the little V6 will handle twin turbos that well, but it will be interesting to see if Expensive Daewoo do something like that. Will only make Ford think a little harder, and that can only be good for us!!!

You might not be, but as stock or near to stock certainely are.

Scotty

Nope, still not.

Stock for stock I still believe the F6 auto will be king, even against the auto HSV.

Guess well see when a couple head down the drags....

It humours me seeing these 297kw LS2's in stock trim struggling to run a flat 14. I'm not talking HSV's quoted times or a magazine's quoted times, rather what I've seen these things do at the drags.

HSV must be pulling a rabbit out of the hat if they think the VE will do better with it's extra weight.

I know there's a couple of company's that are doing stroker kits for the 6ltr LS2's, stroking out to 7 ltrs.

what power/times do they pump out?
