It comes with a wiring loom that except for two wires to be spliced is pretty much a plug-in job. It unlocks with the factory remote on the second-stage, so hit the unlock button twice and the hard lid unlocks. This would only be a problem if you've got the two-stage unlocking programmed on your remotes to only open the drivers door on the first button press and both on the second.Supposedly comes with all the guides and how-to’s that a novice could handle....so we’ll see about that! 1QWKF6 Member 166 Member For: 17y 10m 15d Posted 14/08/07 08:41 AM Share Posted 14/08/07 08:41 AM Adelaide Ute Accessories has fitted a couple of these in the last week, and they are awsome. Went on a proUTES.com cruise last weekend and there was a yellow Tornado with the LidLock fitted and it worked a treat. I will definatly be getting one before Summernats.Regards Bob
