now because its powered, when the boot is "closed" id imagine you cant open it?

food for thought.... anyone got one fitted? and I mean, im assuiming they are US$ so perhaps we could find somehing simular in AU that's more cost effective.

Correct, the motor holds it shut, so in thereoy you can remove the locks all together

Could be interesting if the motor(s) burn out or become disconnected :spoton:

Any further info on how it integrates with the central locking? Does it unlock whenever you open the doors given that there's no boot button on the ute remotes?
