Let's not forget c&v has built and is still building some of the fastest car's in the country, The TT small block MR MAD torana which has run a mid 6 sec pass. The 100% street legal 9 sec rotor (Plates EZY 1o's).

With that sort of power it should run a a 9 sec pass with traction.

Settle down boy's

I know the car and yes it did make 380+kw at the treads,

It is also running a turbo 400 with transbrake. The owner refuses to run it with race fuel and slicks!!!!!!!!!! He is not a quarter mile junky like some of us including myself.

It is running the aps plennum but is only utilising 6 of the twelve injectors.

It is not running NOS as stated! atleast not the last time I saw the car anyway. It has got the power to go fast but when and if the owner decides to do so is another story.

Lets not forget that it is running a similar setup bolt on wise as the Orange C&V sedan that was the first car to break into the 10's in February 04, and then add turbo 400, Transbreak, Edit it has the power to run very fast, do not doubt this.

One last thing to keep in mind when having fun about this particular Tuning House is the following.

Fastest Ls1 auto in the world- 7.00 @ 197mph

GTR XU1 Twin Turbo V8 - 6.75 @ 210mph

First ever 10 sec pass in XR6 Turbo 2004

When this performance house was running 8'sec passes in 1982 most of the tuners around today had never even seen a racetrack for at least 10 years after this, so please do not underestimate there capabilities or knowledge when it comes to the quarter mile guy's They know there stuff

This wasn't actually a C&V bagging session..

Spiko, you, RDP etc all make gobbs of grunt but getting it to the track aint so easy, so why ( C&V ) go in a mag and say the 9 sec pass will be a cakewalk as it has the power "Before the mag goes to press".

You know the guy won't ever run it, why not tell joe magazine reader?????

Advertising yes, but in the real world, I'm asking if this claim has been backed up I suppose, it is after all, a massive claim..

But I believe I have already answerd this question.

C&V cannot control or manipulate a customer when he changes his mind about racing a car that was setup to run 9.7's all day. He just changed his mind one day just like that. This case and outcome is beyond there control. Believe this!

Just one question about this car, its mentioned it is running the the APS plenum. As far as I was aware there was only 1 made and its still on the APS Phase 4 ute.. Having tried to get one of these myself in the past. Just interested in knowing if this is a actual or the actual APS plenum..

I dont think it would be. There would be no need to use it on an edited car anyway as the edit can control injector scaling allowing for only 6 much larger injectors rather than 12. Having said that using modified 968s you can make over 400rwkw using unichip anyway.

There was more than one made my friend, The Aps ute had one and so did the C&V sedan remember!!
