Just reading about a few poeple with lowered springs saying they cut the bump stops, I spose this is to lower it to the correct drop the springs were made for.

Anyone done this? Mine havnt been cut and I think it could be riding on them.

Should I cut them?

nothing really, it will just allow your suspension to ravel a bit more without hitting the bump stops all the time. I cut mine to the base knuckle front and back and haven't had a prob.

I could swear when ive been flying down the road over bumps with the power knuckled down in the ute I have hit the stops since I droped the arse of it. Bump stops are there to stop your components hitting other sh*t. Id leave em and slow down :P

I got under it today and its sitting dead on the bump stops so I cut about 10mm off them. The ride is a million times smoother and there's tighter turn in now.

Are there bump stops in the front that could do with a trim?

I was a wee bit drunk by the time I finished fitting my springs..... I do remember cutting the bump stops and took nearly an inch off I think. Consequently my mate got the pleasure of test driving it
