If memory serves I believe a few members have fitted the F6 intercooler onto their vehicles, I would be appreciative if anyone has gone down this path if they could pls share their experiences with the product, cost, purchase location and general reaction.

I am aware that there are better flowing products on the market but I haven’t seen much discussion on this alternative.

Cheers

I've got one... the only reason I put it on was it is bigger than the factory intercooler and I got it for a slab of Cascade Light... $27.50 and for that money I couldn't turn it down...

Jack

Edit-It made a little bit of difference, obviously on very cold nights, but also in traffic and stuff the car doesn't seem to lose it's punch as quickly as it used to with the factory intercooler on...

I've got one fitted, cost $500 from a forum member.

Easy to install, bolts straight in with no mods. Only problem was that I couldnt refit both horns......Well I could have, but didnt bother making up an extra bracket and re-locating it.

Haven't had it re-tuned yet, but I'm hoping for a slight increase in power.

Looks pretty cool too!

You can get a WOGCOOLER for less than $500, can't you?

I believe for $480.

So has anyone actually tried and sourced a Typhoon cooler from FPV directly?

Yep, that's how I got mine. Supplied a VIN, handed over lots of $$$$, got me a F6 cooler!

Cost me $1290.00 :spoton:
