When you drop off the car, tell them to call you if anything is found that will deviate from the quote. It's important to provide a contact number and ARE available to take calls. That way there's NO surprises.And if there are, you have a sound basis upon which to argue your point.I can also see it from the service provider's point of view.... If an issue is uncovered in the course of servicing a vehicle, It's more timely to get it repaired whilst it's booked in and on the hoist for example.... It will cost you less (at least in lost time, if not money) to get it done then. But that's a risk for the service provider if they have NOT been able to confirm if you want the work undertaken.And yes, if your vehicle is still under warranty, I would have thought that handbrake adjustment would be covered, as there have been significant issues regarding the handbrake on , Mk1 BA's I think.tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
