Series 1s were 12As with about 78kw stock and would do good cracking into the 16s (I had one of these, heaps of fun, but no drag car). Series 5 turbos were running in the 14s stock and plenty with exhausts and raised boost were running in the low 12s/high 11s.The series 8 Rx7s which ran in Japan from about 1999 - 2002 are about all that'll give a phoon a run (standard on standard in a straight line). The last ones were putting out 220kW and under 1400kg. They can do a mid 13sec quarter when pushed. Like the Phoons though, they can drop into the 11s with a bit of tuning etc. Unlike the Phoons, they handle. So he either had a series 8 or the phoon driver was just cruising, looking for a house number or it happened in this guy's head while he had a :jerkit: as he read PCOTY. Obviously she didn't study physics.some people have no idea..... though my mate had a very fast (and modified) series 4.←You do realize though a top fueler accelerates 0-160 in less than 1s and reaches 520km/h in 400m?
