My apologies to everyone for not organising any events this year. It has been very slow and boring in the NSW side of things.

I've been extremely busy with work at the begining half of the year, and have recently started in a new position which let me have a bit more free time to plan events.

Ken and Phil have been doing a great job of moving things along.

I'd just like to throw out some dates of future events I have planned, so everyone can plan for them in advance.

Thursday August 31 - Wakefield Park Track Day

Details here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27315

Sunday September 24 - Canberra / South East NSW Cruise (ACT - Tathra - Bermagui - Moruya - Batemans Bay - ACT or Sydney).

Details here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27319

Saturday and Sunday November 18 & 19 - NSW/ACT/VIC/QLD/SA Snowy Mountains Cruise MK III.

Details here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28253

Over the next two weeks I'll be putting threads up about these events, and thanks for your patience

and how about a cruise out to bathurst one sunday?

We did one on the Aust Day weekend this year when Fraggle was visiting from Tassie.

I am in the process of charting out the 2007 calendar and a Bathurst run is ALWAYS on the agenda...

Hardi ha ha...

It's a lot easier and cheaper to organise a day at Wakefield ($90) than Eastern Creek ($250).

It might be something that can be done later in the year, but not right now

Well, this was the first thread I saw that seemed to me to be like a thread I could chat about cruises coming up (oddly that's what the title says :spoton:)

Anyway, am looking forward to 15 - 16 November 2008 for the Snowies Cruise. Thanks to whoever decided to defer it to then rather than have it in March or April. Farrrk I enjoyed that cruise last time it was run - and highly recommend the other States to join in - well organised, great mates, awesome driving roads and ummm intoxicating
