Willowbank Test N Tune Saturday 12th Aug

Anyone else feel the need for speed? I'll be heading up to the 'bank to see if I can break into the elusive 12 sec barrier with a stock 'phoon.

A guy I work with has an VZ SS Late model camira running nitrous. He thinks he has my measure. I told him he'll need all the NOS he can get to shut me down.

A little support from some others would be appreciated.

Gates open at 4pm, racing from 4.30pm.

Due to the rain this meeting was cancelled so I'm proposing a new date of the 12th Aug. This is the same day as the RDP Dyno Challenge.

I figure we are all together in the one place and we could make a full day of it and cruise out to Willowbank after the Dyno Day.

Waddya all think of that for a plan?????????

PS Before anybody asks why I didn't just pick the next Saturday night meeting on 5th Aug, this is the day my wife returns from 6 weeks overseas. I just don't think that would go down too well.

I might be in this however I have to get a new helmet. Last time I went they told me they wont let me in with mine, aparently its too old. Do you know what standard the helmet must meet?

Had some warranty work done this week before it expires next month and they found a leaking turbo pipe which they replaced. Car seems to have a lot more go now so it will be interesting to see how it performs.

It would be great to see you out there again.

A helmet just needs to comply with the Australian Standards, it's a sticker on the helmet, any new helmet should comply.

So I'll test her on the dyno at RDP then the real dyno at Willowbank

Was looking to get my MT's before I went next to see what diff they could make. Still waitn for Rocket to get back to me 255/50/R16 .....another $500
