I dont want to have to pay to get it done, I would rather spend the money on making car faster. so can someone tell me, the best easy way to get power to the gauges, need ground and 12v up to were the pod is on the dash, step by step directions if possible.. and a good way to get the boost hose into the bonnet and I clamp it on the hose coming from the bov hey? I found that to be easiest. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/27153-powering-the-gauges/#findComment-411854 Share on other sites

The light power I got from the cigarrete light holder that was taped to the wiring loom.(like this for XRs with premium sound). Some people got the light from the traction control switch, which is appranetly dimmed with the dash lights. The wires I ran up inside the drivers side capping next to the ICC, so that I didnt have to take the ICC out. The pipe from the blow off valve - a small pipe (size of a fuel line) goes on passengers side down abut 5 inches, I cut it in half, and added the t junction. The pipe then goes from the passengers compartment through the rubber grommet (drill a hole) above the passengers feet. The grommet would be for a steering column or accelerator cable (cant remember which) for a LHD car. I then ran the line up the capping to the left of the ICC and connected it to the gauge. This route is a bit weird, but I wasnt keen on removing the ICC.That was about it. Took me longer than I expected. In my case I also had to run a wire from exhaust manifold for the mixture gauge. I drilled a extra hole, its where the cable for the auto goes through.
