Also how did you create the dimmer?←You hook it up to the Illumination line which is easily accessable behind the "Fog Lights/Traction control" Button to the left of the steering column.Otherwise, you could put a resister inline with the illumination power on the guages. They are LED's so they will look fairly uniform when dimmed Danny.
TURBOXR I miss her... Donating Members 703 Member For: 20y 3m 4d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 23/07/06 01:38 PM Share Posted 23/07/06 01:38 PM thanks mate, ill give it a go. I ran my illumination from the spare illum conection on the ciggie lighter, just seems easier than tapping the tc/spotlight button. Its in the illum loom so it dims with the rest of the dash.I just found that even though it dimmed with the dash, it was still a few levels too bright if you know what I mean??so I used a simple variable resistor from dick smith that solved it.I wasnt sure what resistor to use anyway, and now I can dial it up to show the ricers!! It was in relation on how to connect an electric oil pressure gauge. Can someone direct me to it if you come accross it please. ThanxNesh
