Robin himself has added all the various touches that now make it a unique vehicle.

Well done Robin.

And he's extremely good at it! Hats off to you Robin. :pinch:

Any plans to add a stripe package?

I have thought about it (the kind that goes over the centre of the roof), but I think it will attract the "wrong" kind of attention, if you know what I mean.

Those front tires are looking a little..light on the tread. I'm guessing they used to be on the back

Yeah, I see what you mean. But in fact they are only a few weeks old !!! It's just the way the photos looks, the Yokoham Advans V103s have a thick ungrooved shoulder for extra cornering grip, so you don't have much in the way of grooves. Hence it looks worn, when in fact it's not.

Question - is that 3 inch piping?

I am going to do the same to my Nizpro kit - open the mouths of the interooler up to 3 inch and change all the piping to 3 inch in prep for future mods.

Yes it is 3 inch, but I have flared the end at the throttle body, as it is 80mm vs 75 mm. That way the pipe is well matched to the throttle body intake. It then reduces back to 2.5 inch as I still use the Nizpro intake pipe which is 2.5 inch. If you wanted to work on piping, I'd suggest reworking the OEM turbo to IC intake, as it snakes around alot and is only about 2 inches in diameter. This is retained in the Nizpro kit. Making a stainless pipe will require a bit of work as it is a complex shape. It would be nice to make it more direct (ie shorter), but I can't see any easy way to do it without cutting thru the radiator support (which I don't want to do).

Since my turbo and engine woes I am now running the same turbo setup as you and my engine will be finished next week. Together with the rest of my APS hardware and a modded plenum your set up is closer to mine than most so I am watching your progress with interest.

Good luck (I know luck has very little to do with a build like that) and keep up the good work.

Dean

Cheers Dean, I look forward to hearing about how it all turns out for you.

And thanks to every for the kind words !!!!! :spoton: I've gained a lot of ideas, thoughts and friends from the supporters of this forum. Thanks again.

Cheers

Robin.

Hmmm...sorry, its overdone.

Remove bonnet protector, front mesh vents in bumper, side vents behind wheels (Falcon SS?!) and side turbo badges. Then Id give it a B+, possibly A-

This is a case of visual clutter, excessive bits n pieces done to the exterior. Less is more gentlemen, less is more.
