Another one to look at for quads is Herrods... they make them to bolt straight in. Then all u need to get for the power you want is a cat and dump pipe.

Im thinking about going 4" dump into a 3 1/2" single and break it off into twin 3"...im pretty sure this is what WIPLSH has done from the information provided in the website www.bestmufflers.com.au but one thing I am worried about is the noise? im wondering if there are any items that can be purchased in order to reduce the bark of the exhaust?

I just had the Advance Headers 3" dump pipe and 3" high flow cat in polished stainless and twin 2 1/2" exhaust fitted a week ago at Kirrawee Mufflers.

Sounds great and has definitely increased the power across the range. At high revs it has gone into limp mode twice so I am taking it easy until I get edited in the next few weeks.

PM me if you want to know more or meet up somewhere so you can check it out.

Cheers,

Aaron

PS: Not sure if this setup will be good for 350KW though, I am only looking for mid to high 200's.

Oxymoron isn't it?

350 at the treads and save money?

I personally know I have spent a lot more on my chariot sinice going over 280. A lot more than it cost me to get there in the first place! :stirthepot:

Herrods do a quad system, but it is dear as poison. If you want to save money, look elsewhere, their system, last time I priced it, was around the $1800 mark.

Me and DBOSS both got out quad systems from Tuffy Mufflers Roseberry. I've got a 4 inch system with quad tips and hi flo cat. They also did BCL's zorst too. Give them a call.

Hey Ozzy how you doing mate?

The exhaust system on my car is as mentioned on Chris's (Bestmufflers) website...that is, 4" dump pipe, 4" metal substraight cat, single 3.5" with a single high flow muffler in the middle, over the diff then it breaks into dual 2.5", then further into the quad pipes.

At the moment you can get the quad system, however the 4" pipe is still not available through Xforce. Bestmufflers can supply you the quad system however the dump pipe would be a split dump pipe (from memory, 3" dump with 1.7" wastegate pipe). I found this pipe to be fairly good however to be honest it is more restrictive then the 4" pipe. Alternatively, you can supply your own 4" pipe and Bestmufflers will fit up the rest of the quad system for you.

To give you an idea on pricing, (please note, price will differ if you supply your own dump pipe as this price includes the dump pipe) you would be looking at $2000 for a Stainless system with a high flow cat. Add $300 if your after the metal substraight cat.

Anyhow mate, if you want to hear what the car sounds like, send me a PM and we can organise to meet up one day/night......Im located around the Liverpool area.

Regards,

Dean
