Good luck with it all mate, looking foward to catching up on a cruise.Scotty

replicant Member 180 Member For: 19y 2m 8d Posted 23/07/06 02:01 AM Share Posted 23/07/06 02:01 AM for christ sake go and get a feed into ya skinny little greyhound.....Feeding isn't the problem... it's being active enough to burn it off. When you build a car to a minimum weight for an endurance race there's nothing worse than having the car being an extra 20 odd kilos too heavy because someone ate all the pies. Some goes for the karts we used to run, rather bolt 15kg of lead to the chassis to make a weight limit than have the driver carrying it.As for weight reduction, taking out all the unnecessary weight in a car makes a tangible difference and it benefits handling and braking. There's also a tangible difference in your weekly fuel bill from walking to the shops or not using the a/c... although I'm still doing my sums on whether it's cheaper to taking the toll on the M2 rather than sitting in traffic... still it's a few hours extra a week of free time instead of sitting on my ass looking at the rear bar of the car in front.
