My question though is how many tanks will it take before I notice any power difference as I have heard you won't notice any difference on the first tank? Thanks

That was in an EL XR6 and EL XR8. At 10c a litre more save your money and you will get upgrades earlier. Unfortunatretly there is no real quick fix for added power. The guysd with the knowledge will be able to tell you bang for buck on a NA, but I doubt 98 is the answerScotty

Switched to Shell 95 and wham bam 11.2 first week. Improved after that to 10.8 average but never down where the 98 was.I'm switching back to 98 for a few weeks so I can get a better assessment of the difference, I'd be surprised if it was that marked. My cars 100% stock. Note I havent run the car on 91 at all to assess that difference.
