Gents

Call me stupid if you wish......... I just removed the ICC to fit a new silver fascia. Now that I have hooked everything back up the radio doesnt work because of a security feature.

I have bought this ute second hand so I dont have any original codes that I know of.

Can anyone tell me the process to rectify this. All help is greatly appreciated.

From what I understand all the security info is located on the ACM which is part of the ICC.

Yes I just changed the facia, all of the guts were put onto the new facia. But of course now all of it is back in the car. So I suppose I will have to remove everything again.

when ive disconnected the battery, it comes up enter code, ive owned my ute since new, and I dont have the code for it, I started to panic, but I had to be somewhere, so I started driving, and would ya know, the radio turn on and start playing my cd

hang on a minute here, I have had plenty of utes in at work, and now that I think about it, when we disconnect the battery because we are welding on the back of the car, the ICC never throws out that it needs a code. The radio just works.

The screen displays 'code' for a few seconds while the system checks the code, oce that is cleared it should work properly.

Gone are the days of manually entering a code.
