GreatI cant understand though if it was valve springs, how a restart of the vehicle they would automatically come good and the car would run fine. Im still running standard boost pressure so didnt think they would be an issue. If they are U/S though how can I tell for sure if they have had it??Ta←Look given you are running a cooler without an edit, chances are it could be an overboost problem however what you have described is synonomous with failing valve springs.In basis terms what happens is the springs get tired when hot (after a decent workout) and they cause the valve to stay open causing a fuel flooding effect which rights itself after a while.Although stock, the better cooler may be allowing extra boost which would explain greater strain on the valve springs.Bottom line, speak to one of the Tuners already mentioned and get a custom tune as the car will not like running extra boost on the stock tune. Only mod then was centre muffler removed and a 2nd CAI. Aftermarket cooler allowing your car to spool ealier could very well cause a boost spike that the ecu dont like and yeh slight overboost aswell. But then again, I'm no expert! You said it happened in the morning, so obviously its a lot cooler then normal day, coupled with the intercooler I'm guessing it overboosted. Could possibly overboosted to the point of causing a valve spring issue.. I'd get an edit, custom tune and a dyno evaluation before giving it too much more curry!
