When you say it's a black hardcover you mean the one with the lip that covers the tub liner when it's down or do you mean the leather grain finished one?

If it's the leather grain finish forget it, they look horrid, and they don't cover the exposed lip of the tub liner when down.

agreed, and the price on them units is worth like 900 odd dollars new, I can get them wholesale and I woudlnt touch one.

if you get the hard lid, when you get the little plugs for the old cover holes, ask Ford to photo copy the fitting instructions, they tell you exactly where and how big to drill the holes

make sure it comes with the struts and hinges as I was quoted $400 for those items

That price must of been from Iseenucoming Motors was it?! :nono:

AUC3P501R34A - Hinges - RRP $139.54set

AUC3P501S34A - Struts - RRP $141.90pr

AU20360271A - Plugs - RRP $2.61ea (need 20)

The smooth finish tonneau covers cost about $1840 from Ford, the Leathergrain ones are just over $1300.

the smooth lids may be $1800 ish, but ask if that includes the hardware to fit it to the car, youll find it is not included

I fitted my hardcover myself so I picked it up in the Ford branded box it was delivered in. It came with all fitting hardware (including instructions) for $1500. The only thing I had to buy separately was the little plastic plugs that go in the tub where the black button things were.

I spoke to a Ford spare parts dealer today and I was quoted $1700 BA style painted any Ford colour I like, no mounting kit in that price.

But for a BF style $1900 plus $450 for the mounting kit I thought.
