Personally, to get a reliable, long term 400rwkw on an XR base engine would be +$20k easily. If you buy brand name bits from a reputable tuner.

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't do it for much less if I was the tuner/workshop..

I'd say Ninka or Hiddeous would be prime candidates to answer this question. How about it guys? What does the entire build cost?

And what kind of ET will this get you?

Im not sure why my name keeps coming up here Jason....all i did was bolt a nizpro manifold and cooler onto my ute bottom end remains standard at the moment....whats ET's go to do with anything? wasnt so long ago that the only time that mattered in your book was a sub 60 second lap around wanneroo's short track if i recall correctly... now that you have an auto all you want to talk about is et's....what people spend on there cars and the reason they do it is there business....so if you wanna critise people leave me out of it okay champ...? why dont you tell us how cheap you got your Nizpro kits for...??

I know what the XR6T did around Wanneroo, now I might want to see what the car will do at the drags. Each is better suited to one type of driving event. Neither type of driving event takes preference over the other as far as I'm concerned - I enjoy both.

My questions and comments aren't about criticising people about spending money on their cars, however I do think it could be useful to fellow forumers that if people are going to have pages and pages and pages about their mods, why not post what the cost of the upgrade costs? It might help other people decide how far they can stretch their budget.

From memory, I think the kit was $2000 odd.

Why on earth would I post cost for the total rebuild :bowdown:

First of all, it is nobody's but my business, and secondly, my own involvement in making a lot of the mods can change the final $$ number dramatically, so whatever I spent on my car, is not necessarily of relevance for the next person.

If you don't pay much attention to what we do, then please don't use our names in your threads Jason, as you may not have the facts straight :laughing:

I really don't think it's anyons business what is spent on the cars.

be thankfull that these cars are giving excellent blow by blow descriptions of there mods and the results of the mods.

if people want to know what it costs, then I think they should get up out of there computer chairs and shop arround until they are happy whith the quotes they get.

just my 2cents worth. :laughing:
