I would love to have heard the conversation the R1 rider had with his mates later about the yellow Ford that just passed him at a ridiculous speed..... Guest newl Guests Posted 17/07/06 01:35 PM Share Posted 17/07/06 01:35 PM If doing something silly ON a car counts, I'd have to say that you've never seen a bloke pulling his pants up and making a bee line for the car door and forgetting the wife on the bonnet as you would when someone is rolling up on you out in the middle of freaking nowhere where you'd not expect anyone to be. IN a car would be more of the same. Or perhaps the joys of driving in snow when you're young and stupid doing donuts and power slides all over town. drcook Member 752 Member For: 20y 3m 11d Location: leonay Posted 18/07/06 06:50 AM Share Posted 18/07/06 06:50 AM (edited) erm...1. being a passenger with a mate at about 1am doing doe'ees at a grassed area next to an embankment (bout 10mtrs straight down) to a river and him losing control, sliding towards said embankment (passenger side, me, facing towards) sliding off the edge of said embankment but the rear wheel got caught (somehow) in a tangled up bunch of long grass. so there we are, looking out my passenger window straight down the embankment. we decided at that point to, carefully, exit the vehicle via his driver door and call a towee.2. racing with same mate down a road in western syd called mitchells pass. I made it to the end without flipping, doing a 360 degree pirouette, then flipping back on wheels. he didnt.3. passenger in car (same mate again) at 210km/h on m2.4. driver in car at 210km/h on m2.5. my mate (the same mate again) got a rental car while his was being fixed. enough said...6. passing a unmarked cop over double centre lines while speeding by 20kms. I got away with it though when my mate (yes the same mate again!) passed the cop and me. so the cop went after him!7. driving at 155km/h on m4 and being pulled over. and let go!... ha8. riding on bike at 235km/h on m2.9. riding on bike at 270km/h on main straight of eastern creek raceway.10. driving at 230km/h in the T. so should I regret all this behavior....yes. do I... not really. If you think that sort of speed is tame, I would hate to see what gets you going.←................getting an 11.8 in a manual F6. Well if trembling hands are anything to go by that is.←There are plenty faster speeds over the 1/4 - mine is one (time ain't everything unless it is repeatable), but it doesn't have anything on 270 let me tell you. ←270??? you big girl - I have done 310 in the Cobra - and it doesnt have a roof!
