its been about 2.5 months since I washed my car and about 5 months since I polished it or anything so thought I'd give it a go today..

last polish was with zaino ~5 months ago and after a quick wash it looked like new and even I was surprised at how long the Zaino had lasted, but I thought I'd add a layer of P21S as well.. the front 1/4 had not been done at this stage..

That looks awsome mate, whats the P21S and where do you you get it from?

hey mate, I got it from WaxIt - about $50 a tub but lasts for ages.. I reckon I used maybe 5mm out of the whole tub which is about 5cm high???

http://www.waxit.com.au/proddetail.asp?prod=WA0001&cat=4

its a full carnauba wax and has the texture of hot butter when you wipe it on.. trippy stuff but seems to do the trick.. they reckon to wipe it off just before it dries so I was doing 2-3 panels at a time, then wiping off about 5mins later

nice work on a nice car, how long it take you to do that?

Also where did you get the zanio wax from?

took about 3 hours all up - 45-60mins for full wash and dry, then the polishing took the rest... BUT having zaino on it from months back made it much easier to get it ultra clean ready for polishing.. A full treatment of wash, clay, wash, dry, zaino, buff, P21S and buff could easily take a day

You can get the Zaino from WaxIt same as P21S..

If you've never used either before, I'd recommend claybarring first, then Zaino, then P21S...

Zaino lasts for months whereas the P21S being carnauba lasts the same as normal polish.. Zaino is more of a paint sealant..

Gelson's t95 superfinish cream polish. got it and the 3m claybar from S and S industries in midvale (there a panel beating/spray painting supply company) when i finished claying and detailing it with the meguairs setup the car was so slick that the polishe bottle kept sliding off the hard cover...gotta be happy with that..
