Posted 16/07/06 06:25 AM Share Posted 16/07/06 06:25 AM Hi all,Just wondering about the new 6 speed auto. How does it hold up against a modified engine with big torque numbers? Has anybody with this tranny modded their car and have they had any problems? Is there any transmission people who can strengthen them should the need arise?Out of interest, does anybody know how much torque they are capable of handling (according to factory specs)?Thanks.... Meaning they are designed to handle that much torque over the useful life of the car, which I think is considered 200,000km. There are versions rated to 850nm in V12 BMW's and Audi's. I think they will handle big torque pretty well as I've yet to hear of one breaking in boosted turbos.

Is that true? What's the go??
