BF_F6Shockwave Member 444 Member For: 15y 10m 25d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 23/01/10 01:12 PM Share Posted 23/01/10 01:12 PM well what a lot of time and money that was for 1 run and to add insult to injury I stuffed the start up LOL the event got rained out I left a lil bit later to avoid the heat and arrived just before 6pm by the time we changed the rims & got through scruiteneering I lined up had my bad run and it was starting to rain as I went across the finish line.. ah well have to wait till next time....oh the run was 13.7 @ 180kms/h those that were there would have seen how sh*t my start was LOL I nearly stalled, I was happy with the speed the car made across the line and I'm sure I'll be in the 12's next time. What a shame about the rain we had been looking forward to that night for months. Next time 12's mate! On a positive note one of mates that we bought down with us is now hooked and a drag racing convert so we should see JETR33 converted from a drifter into a dragger! We'll be there next time to race with bells on and I am keen to get a base line number for my car to improve upon. There were some very nice cars there, I loved the green xa or xb 4 door that sounded on song all the way down. Shame to see the four seasons xr5 turbo break or what ever on the second run of the night but sh*t happens in racing.
