quadie Donating Members 720 Member For: 18y 11m 17d Gender: Male Location: Muswellbrook,NSW Posted 18/09/11 08:59 AM Share Posted 18/09/11 08:59 AM sure do have a temp gauge, also bypassed factory cooler with a big 19 row job with -10 lines , gauge is on the line out to the tranny.where I mounted it has poor airflow , so ive taken out the washer bottle,foglight , and going to cut a hole in the underguard sso allow lots of air to the cooler and ee what happens then!hopefully that's all the problem is. quadie Donating Members 720 Member For: 18y 11m 17d Gender: Male Location: Muswellbrook,NSW Posted 18/09/11 12:09 PM Share Posted 18/09/11 12:09 PM looks like jsut a stuck solinoid, let is si in reverse for aout 3 minutes, then it finaly pulled reverse and now s pulling reverse every time straight away.the old box was weird , it had no drive at all in any gear, the weird thing was that when I pulled it out it had probly 100 mls of oil in the convertor.I asked ali what when wrong when he stripped it down and he said blown clutches , dosent make sense , I suspected an oil pump fault.went for a drive , all gears running fine now.gunna see if I an book it in for satuday for him to check the solinoids and fix a small hesitation in the tune when it starts building up boost.with my list of mods , what u recon I sould do next for more power ?
