All great info! Is 3" big enough, or should I go bigger?

minimum of 3.5' mate or your just going to restrict the system more.

3.5 or 4' is perfect to mate up strait off the dump pipe. :spoton:

just noticed your signature mate.. 238rwkw.. surely that can't be stock?? if so, I think we have the highest powered stock car!

No, it's not stock! Filter, FPV CAI and DYNOWOG tune! It is all the WOG could get out of it, yet the same tune was installed into another std car which went straight to over 250rwkw. I'm thinking there's a restriction somewhere. Any advise would be a great help!

By the looks of this thread, you are suspecting your cat right?

depending on the life of the cat, though its highly unspspected at the age these vehicles are, your cat might have worn and fallen to peices

A few members have had collasped cats, I believe exaresix did on his ute.

Stabbing in the dark at present! While running generic tunes, it backfired quite severely a couple of times. I'm thinking, maybe it has been damaged!

Dynowog was stumped and quite frankly a bit imbarresed returning it to me with only 238rwkw. He was confident he could get 250-260 which was proven when my tune was ran on similar car, same day, same dyno and instantly ran over 250!

So really guys, any advise/suggestion will highly respected!

Mate that is no good, I can understand a cat causing you not to get the power you want, but I dont know if it could cause backfiring. Hope it all goes well for you.
