Hey guys n gals,

I want to get an idea of numbers of members that would be interested in attending a weekend down south, probably to Busselton, to stay in either apartments or a campsite under canvas... obviously with a fair difference in cost. I am looking at around September/October to leave on a Friday arvo or early Saturday morning, and return Sunday evening.

Areas looking at are Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret river or the surrounding areas.

Given the success of the Big Vic Weekend I thought it might be a good chance for everyone to organise in advance to get time off work if necessary or plan around it to have a decent attendance. It will obviously allow us to set up on a saturday, take in the sights and settle in for a few beers and bbq throughout the evening. Cooked brekky the next morning and all the hangover cure's known to man...

So I'm after an expression of interest from members and families/friends to attend the inaugural Big WA Weekend... and ideas for how it should be run.

Even if not many people are interested I think a few of us will still be going anyway... but obviously the more the merrier! It will also give the people who reside in the south-west to attend an event.

Let me know what you think

Cheers

Steve :crybaby:

Yeah count me in. I will need to give this some thought, but there are plenty of places to check out. I recommend we get down to the Boranup forest (bit past Margarets) cos that's cool and its a crazy drive.

Interested. Weekends are good. Camping sounds good. ("XR6T Rally") Will need plenty of notice, but at worst will drive down for the night.

Good on you for taking the inititiative yet again Steve!

I'm half way there to the left. Count me in if 30 doesn't rain down on a young parade! I'll bring beer!

Are wives/missus going to be excluded. If so I'm going to need a good excuse to obtain a leave pass for such an excursion.
