Well ill be FUC%ED! I just checked my spare and on the inside of the wheel it says rear wheeel only. That means that I have a front wheel on the rear on one side with a different offset.

Time to visit my tyre guy, again! Any idea what damage could have been done?

I have the drama every time I change tyres I have to go back and make them put the right wheels in the right place... The offset is written inside the rim... Is only 20mm difference but you can notice when you put them on.... Tyre dealers do not give a shiat....

Just tell the dealer you will tell FPV that they are an idiot.... FPV have a list of recommended fitters and aligners and I think all the major companies would like to be on that list.... Jax tyres offered me free wheel alignments for 12 months as an apology after farkun it up 3 times in a row... I asked them if they were an FPV approved aligner and they admitted to trying to get approval.....

Yeah mate, definately a different offset, it cost me an extra 44 dollers to swap all of my tyres when I got two new ones. I watched them do it to make sure, but they have said that they do many FPVs so they already know. The spare is a front right I believe off memory. Damage I have only heard is scraping the front calipers when brembos are fitted, not sure about the prem ones though. It says that the wheels are a differenet offset in the fpv manual, and on the rear rims of the Phoon it says "rear use only". So if I were you, id get em off quick just in case any damage.. And tell your tyre dealer he's a stooge! :pooh:

Just checked out the "Customer Assistance,

Warranty & service guide".

On page 45 the note reads "The rear wheels

fitted to F6 Typoon, GT and GTP vehicles have a

different offset to the front wheels and must not be

fitted to the front"

It does not mention if this is applicable to 18" and or 19"'s

I will check on the week end and let you all know.

Good to see you found it, I knew it was somewhere there, I remember reading it when I got the F6. Im pretty sure this also includes the 19s. All FPV rims are the same.

Same happened to me and I couldn't tell any difference really  Simon from XTREME noticed that the fronts were sticking out further than the back when I got some shocks fitted or something, very bloody vigiliant is our Simon. Anyway there was no damage and I've got BREMBOS, just a pain swapping them back again :stirthepot:
