If you're to believe the hype on the Metal Cat website, the Magic cats are illegal (along with the XForce/Chinese cats). Metal Cat claim that their products are marked with a CA stamp to verifiy their legality. Anyone have any more info/knowledge about this please? I'm pretty sure the magic cat flows better.. but I ended up with a good result so I'm not gonna bother changing it.
Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 18y 9m 24d Posted 10/07/06 08:30 AM Share Posted 10/07/06 08:30 AM (edited) unless you have the exhaust tested to see if it complies with ADR emmision compliance when making modicaitons its deemed illegal, only thing you can get away with is noise and that it has to be under 90db for cars post 1986 (I think) Edited 10/07/06 08:30 AM by Fattony

Falchoon I see red Member 5,758 Member For: 22y 28d Location: nowhere in particular Posted 10/07/06 09:47 AM Share Posted 10/07/06 09:47 AM A bit exxy, just over $200, I know others have got it done for less. Noise doesn't really seem to have changed, maybe under full throttle/peak revs but I haven't had a chance to test that theory yet!
