In fact, anyone with ANY model Ford can join the club as an associate, whilst full membership requires a genuine Tickford modified Ford. This is all laid out in our constitution, and to amend it requires a majority vote by full members. This is exactly what we are doing at the moment, regarding the changes surrounding FPV. I think so far the vote is overwhelmingly FOR changing to embrace FPV, and this is the way it should be IMO. Will a change that embraces FPV vehicles really include XR6T since they don't actually carry the FPV badge even though they are fitted with prem brakes, sun roofs, 18" wheels, etc at their facility. Also is there a branch in VIC? Guest Steve's XR8 Guests Posted 05/12/02 10:02 AM Share Posted 05/12/02 10:02 AM Hello All,As mentioned earlier by Mike and Nick, our Club is going through the process of change. One of the changes is for our club to embrace the new BA range of XR cars.We see these cars as our future so we would be crazy not to take them on board as full members. Please feel free to come along to a meeting or on one of our cruises to see what we are about.Regards,Steve.

Guest MrSparkle Guests Posted 05/12/02 11:01 AM Share Posted 05/12/02 11:01 AM Is it still going to be called Tickford Club of NSW? Unknown as yet, that is one of the steps we are voting on. I think the name will change and either include FPV, or change outright to FPV with no mention of Tickford. The members will ultimately decide though!
