do you want just the grill or the whole bonnet??

I have an evo grill mould at the workshop if you want a grill made up for you metal bonnet it can be done.

but if you want a fibre bonnet best to speak to awc

I thought I'de have to buy the whole bonnet so I can get the metal workers next to my business to cut it out and weld it into my XR bonnet. It has a moulded lip arround the mesh/grille. Does the mould you have got this lip? how do you make them, fibreglass I assume? I want to keep my metal bonnet and put vent in it, not to sure about strength of a complete moulded fibre bonnet. Do you have any photos of one from your mold?

The vents on the link to the fordforums site look the best and that would be because they are on a matt finish bonnet.

How about using the turbo territory bonnet if it fits? Its Ford, its OEM, its metal - what more could you want???

On the 'vents' or no 'vents' I'm all for it so long as under bonnet heat reduction is worth the fork out and the vents don't ugly it up or look too jap import.

I have just finished venting my fibreglass XR8 bonnet to try and take some of the under bonnet temps away. Lucky for me I'm a ricer from way back before it was even popular so a bit of gawdy bling doesn't bother me :greyscare:

Only phone pics and the bonnet isn't back on the ute yet.
