Nice tune Simon. :pinch:

That's just the way I like it.  Strong boost up front to get the car moving...

and get moving it does  although, I'm starting to notice the lag a lot more these days.. just more money waiting to be spent :crybaby: time to shorten that intake plumbing :censored: it never ends.

the dyno operator was pretty impressed with such a tune, sent all the way from WA.. is words.. "f*ck this thing comes on hard, glad I strapped it down"

Jimmy iam glad she went over the 300rwkw, it feel great. Iam sure if Simmon gave her an extra 1 psi I would have one.Good work Simmon may be one day you will come to Sydney until then 330 will do.CHEERS BB :yikes:

just get a mail order tune.. I was a little worried at first, but Simon has been great to deal with, not to mention very reasonable with prices! and I think this tune shows just how much he knows about these cars.. basically got the tune perfect in one try.. then with a slight touch up its gold :yikes: imagine what he could do if he had the car for a day or so :crybaby: I think I'd need to wear nappies while driving it :censored:

now, about those tyres.. I believe I remember Simon saying something about sending the tyre bill to him.. all part of the service he said :pinch: I told ya that this guy is reasonable :spoton:

its great to drive! boost does come on quite hard, and some times you really have to restrain from planting it fully, as it will step out on you in no time. I haven't had the chance to take this tune for a long drive as of yet, but its very close to my previous tune, so I'm guessing I'll still get great fuel economy on the highway. I was getting under 11L/100km whist driving on country roads.. which is awesome!.. probably go closer to 9L/100km once I hop on the freeway to sydney as there is less hills etc.

Overtaking has never been easier :stirthepot: 3rd, 4th, 5th.. whatever gear you're in. 2nd and 3rd really pull the car up to speed.. and 4th.. well sometimes I don't even need 3rd.. so I have to slow down a bit just to get to use it :spoton:

The best part is, apart from my pig of a clutch, the car drives very smooth and very tame when I don't hammer the throttle.. although it can turn rather wild pretty quickly when you do decide to thrash it :nono:

Dont worry about fitting shorter intake plumbing, you have twice the amount of torque required to blow a T5, start saving for a 6 speed box, you will need it, muzza did two boxes in about two weeks, and that was with 285 rwkw (similar tune), his 6 speed is the goods.

Great result all round guys, now start saving.
