In the wet, cripes I drive like a blouse,

I managed to get her sideways comming out of a corner and went bush on the FPV Track (dry) day and that was embarressing. Thank god all I got was a dirty car, cripes doing that on a wet public road I would hit something for sure. So for me the wet means driving like a blouse.

300 + rwkw.... ute with no TC.....

You lose it only once, if you're lucky.

I was lucky....

I "lost" it and mounted the centre raised median strip...

.... almost went over into oncoming traffic...... :spoton:

I got away with only scraped rims.

the :pooh: stains in my seat are a constant reminder of how to treat the ute in the wet....

with respect!

I dont know about you guys, but sometimes it doesnt take bugger all throttle, and it comes out, its nothing I can help. Maybe because its a live rear axle ute might have something to do with it. wat ever it is its great fun, and it will prob end in tears one day

Try turning of traction control and come out of a car wash with wax all over your tyres.

Car wash!? Never in a million years.

Back on topic though, if it's wet, the TC always stays on and yes it'll still slip a little.

Mate up in QLD at the moment, you cannot use a hose to wash your car. I had salt spray all over the car, a brushless carwash was the better of two evils.
