However, that Tab fella has more mods to his car than you can poke Rob's mum at. :crybaby:

Those Bald tires, punched out cat and of course his 12V pressure cooker that he cooks lamb shanks in while driving.

metal cat = $290+$100 installation.

ASE cooler = $850

2nd CAI + K&N Filter = $150

Flash Tuner = $850 + $300 for tuning

this achieved 304rwkw on a octane additive tune. my daily is 279rwkw on BP Ultimate with AFR's reaching a max of 13.2.

all in all id say that's awesome power for the amount spent!

the car goes into HP-F in 4 days for 968 injectors, Nizpro springs and custom tuning. Fingers crossed for roughly a 320rwkw"ish" result :crybaby:

Thanks for that information :pinch: , The cost of reaching my 250rwkw SAFELY should only really cost me $2500ish.

It is interesting to note that you havent added the injectors earlier.

Considering I could use a WOG cooler for $600ish fitted we are now talking cheaper again (this must be the financial advising side of me coming out).

That would be a VERY safe 250rwkw for $2.5K!

Trough, great result, but I'm really surprised you could get 304rwkw out of standard injectors?! What were the AFRs like? The 968s will be good insurance for you mate.

Careful bugster.

That topic is a raw nerve around here. :spoton:

Hell, I remember when my T ran 286RWKW on standard injectors when it wasn't possible.... :msm:

Very true, and good point, thanks for the warning! I'll stop asking tricky/controversial questions!

So if Im looking for 250rwkw SAFELY should I get them??

As Raphoon has said, this is a touchy subject and the answer will vary depending on who you ask. I think at least one thing is fairly widely acknowledged around here, and that is that Nizpro is one of the premier tuning houses out there. Maybe the best bet would be to ring and ask for Simon's advice.

But, if you're really willing to spend $2.5K, I'd suggest that larger injectors would be a good call.
