For an outlay of $3K, I'd say you'd be looking at closer to a 100rwkw gain.Changing the cat is probably a worthwhile (but not necessarily essential) mod if you're chasing over 250rwkw. Most people agree that the main restriction in an otherwise pretty decent stock system is the cat (and NOT the centre muffler - that's done almost purely for sound).
