congrats on the purchase

you will have to tag along to a cruise or a meet or similar!!

where abouts are you located?

brisvagas

I need to do some mods before I show up with a stock car ha ha

Thanks for the invite though

Doesn't matter mate, sometime we let that ugly bugger Trent (Tab) ride along in his beige Nissan Pintara. A bloke like you (Ie: NOT Trent) would be more than welcome.

Lumpy :msm:

Congrats on the new ride :spoton: Notice you have a T5 gearbox so I would keep the mods as you have stated, this should see you clear to ~ 240rwkw. Anymore than this and the torque will destroy the gearbox in time, particularly if you are not friendly towards it

well I had my first bit of fun tonight being a ford owner

I think I now know what Expensive Daewoo drivers are like to ford drivers,I never had a HSV or 4 cyl buzz box sit on my ass when I had a Holden.

Yet just then I was coming home and had a HSV on my ass I let him pass then I feed the power into the xr6t

WOW that was fun to see the HSV cross up over the mountain and the BA still stick to the road (STOCK AS A ROCK)

Well I will never encorage driving like a dickhead on public roads

But gee it was great to see a stock car keep up with/stick to the ass of a HSV.

GO THE BLUE FLAG

:stirthepot::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::spoton::spoton:

PS:just got a sound file from one of the boys with the center muffler removed

Sounded quite good for a easy cheap mod

Keep the stock system and just change out the stock cat...

That is what I have done... and it has a bit of note at idle now, and sounds alright when giving it the curry...

And it's a performance mod not like the swapping out of the centre muffler :stirthepot::laughing:

Jack

When you say change out the stock cat are you saying remove the guts or replace with a better unit

I thought changing the cat in a stock car would start bringing you into overboost territory and wouldn't really be beneficial until you were making other serious mods??
