im feeling like adim wit

everyone is saying replace cat

is that with a new performance one or take the guts out of the origional ???

either or.

You can knock it out and risk fines and people telling you it shouldn't be done, or you can get a new one welded in.

I got a 'replacement' section made up, where I can put the factory cat back in when the ute has to go..

The factory cat has some long sections of pipe welded to it, and a cut and shut cat is a bit bodge ( imo ), and non returnable to factory..

I replaced the stock cat with a 3.5" Metal Cat from a Site Sponsor (Pro Speed Racing) cost for the cat was $290 and it cost me $150 to fit... though I'm told since I had mine done that it could be fitted cheaper... but that is always the way (murpy's law)

I need to do some mods before I show up with a stock car ha ha

Thanks for the invite though

Doesn't matter mate, sometime we let that ugly bugger Trent (Tab) ride along in his beige Nissan Pintara. A bloke like you (Ie: NOT Trent) would be more than welcome. :msm:

Oh yeah - just f*cking great isn't it! The scariest 20 minutes of my life was spent in the pimptara.......the highlight being dragging the excel and getting flogged after the excessive front wheel spin :gooff:

Don't forget the brakes that made so much scraping noise it was far less embarrasing though slightly more dangerous to not actually use them :fool:
