Would like to see if it makes a diffrence with the standard cooler. But having had a look at the Plazmaman and Process west offerings to name a few its hard to resist. My tuner wants to check out if does anything on the standard cooler too.

Thanks xclr8

Also keep in mind that you will need a custom tune after installing a wogcooler and UBP.

Ya reckon? I ran just a wog cooler for ages on the std tune. I'd double check this, although you can't go wrong with a custome tune.

A couple of things...

When you take the front bar off, just undo the 1 bolt that holds the tray to the back end of the motor. Will save you time.

And a custom tune is a necessity with both fitted. Everyone I have spoken to have been getting boost spikes of upto 4 psi! So that just shows one of the ways that FoMoCo stiffled the true capabilities of these taxis!

Feeling stupid now, had the front clip off a couple of times and never thought to leave the under tray connected. would save a lot of time not having to undo all those screws.

I think the combination with the UBP makes flow a whole lot greater therefore blowing out the Afr's

Unless its just my car that has reacted this way....

I ran the stock tune for a while on my wog cooler and twin 2.5" exhaust without overboost, but as soon as I put one of the CAPA generic tunes in (8psi) I saw boost spikes of up to 15psi :roflmbo:

so back to stock tune it went!

Did you have the UBP though? I think that pipe actually does a crazy job at release flow to the cross over. WIth the air sensor being mounted on the actual pipe means that the sensor is tell the CPU that we have too much air flow in...

Again I am no expert but I would love a comment from Plazmaman of PW on this subject.

Just after I installed my 'phoon cooler PW released their UBP :tonguepoke::buttrock:

.... I've got it sitting on the floor and all I'm waiting for is the stamina for me to get off my @rse again and take the fron bar off.. again!!!!

Suppose I'd better book it in for a tune too
