Guest Guests Posted 11/09/07 03:09 PM Share Posted 11/09/07 03:09 PM purely and simply the brackets work on 99% of mki'sthe other 1 % needs adjustment due to manufacturing tolerance in the vehiclein mkii's you need to drill 2 holesas to why design brackets that dont fit? they do fit! read instructions on my site or ask adam to put up the instructions that were on my sponsor forum! much more concise!twisted shorter bracket with xtra bend goes to the driver side above the lip but can be used below as well! Guest Guests Posted 12/09/07 12:34 AM Share Posted 12/09/07 12:34 AM Are you interested in advising me of these tricks? Pretty please!!!!!!Hi, As you may know ive won this Monsta I/C. I have fitted a PWR aux trans cooler in between my stock I/C and A/C condensor. Its a nice fit. You advised that there can be some tricks to getting this sort of clearance when fitting the Monza styled I/C? As I need at least 19mm.Are you interested in advising me of these tricks? Cheers, Brad.this is not my product so really the info I give is cause I am a nice guy unlike some others!best way to get clearance for the trans cooler is to use the push through ties they come with and tie it to the air cond. condensor as high as posible, use crimp clamps so there is no chance of the worm rubbing through the condensor etc.then the radiator support bracket has large adjustment holes youu need to loosen all 4 bolts and push the radiator as far back as posible then it all fits

Yeah I used the push through ties that PWR supplied with the transcooler. However I mounted it so it would all clear my stock I/C... Doh!!! So its actually as low as possible...... Ill look into the rad suppport brackets. Thanks mate!

This is exactly what I am doing. And yes he agreed, this setup is good for 300-315rwkws. I am doing the same, already have the cooler, and the upb is here waiting to be installed!
