That's a good question.

I've got the Wogcooler but was doing my car on a budget. Yes, it's much better than F6 cooler. Yes, there are much better (both more efficient

and better looking) coolers out there. Depends what you're after. The Wogcooler represents great value for money and if bang for your buck is a major factor, then I would recommend it. If you're after higher efficiency and don't mind spending a bit more, then I'd look at other options, including the plazaman setup already referred to.

My Wogcooler is allowing me to get around the 310rwkw mark. However, others with similar mods but better coolers are able to achieve this sort of power level (or more) with less boost. Remember that the Wogcooler utilises the stock plumbing, which is quite restrictive. Fitting it was a bit of a pain, although it is sold as a 'straight bolt in' job.

The Wogcooler is generally available on eBay for around the $450 mark I believe. Hope this was of help. :surrenderwave:

I had the Wog cooler on my T and transferred it to the Typhoon when I upgraded. Great unit for the price. The highest power level I ran through the original plumbing and Wog Cooler was 355RWKW. It was still able to sufficiently cool the intake charge, even in Qld.

Thanks so far guys,

Im looking for around 300rwkw because at this stage im not interested in a built bottom end.

Its running tune only @ 255 now but the valve springs are prohibiting any more boost so the next step is springs and injectors. Id say after that ill be high 200s at the tyres.

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on combining a wog cooler with the under battery pipe from process west? (450+125=$575!)

The wog cooler flows well, and im told, is has compairable cooling properties with the F6 cooler.

So with the removal of the restrictive under battery pipe.. will this be a worth while addition?

What power do you think that would be good for?.. im aiming for just over 300rwkw but I want the advantage of more consistancey in summer!!!

I'll do a cat & clutch and that will do it.. any more is just too much wheelspin!

I'd love the stg.2 cooler, but I cant justify spending too much more on my car @ my age :buttonit:

cheers

I was talking to Danny this morning mate. This is exactly what I am doing. And yes he agreed, this setup is good for 300-315rwkws.

I believe its one of the most restrictive parts in the whole intake system.

The UBP is next on my list of Mods, now I have to decide which one.
