The worst thing about changing the intercooler is those stupid black body clips. Exercise in frustration. :roflmbo:

To get those clips out, I got an easy way. Flat head screwdriver, but the end of the screwdriver needs to be like made into a point for digging. This allows you to get under the clip and lift the screw part (that ironically don't screw) out. Saves all the swearing.

Um yeah...I dont quite understand why the bottom brackets dont work...perhaps the wog could enlighten us how the bottoms fit, maybe its just another orientation or some sh*te....nice decent size pics in the instructions would help heaps..

Top brackets were just fine....

Your ment to leave it all lose, bolt it up then tighten it. With regards to bending the brackets its nothing major and a lot of the bending is done when you tighten it all up. What do you expect for a cooler at that price, hell you could pay more for another item, have to grind away at parts of your car and leave the splash guard off :roflmbo:
