As the title suggests we now have access to the Territory tuning Processor code through CAPA SCT Advantage software...and boy have Ford tried everything in their grasp to keep the grunt down on this one!

The throttle response has been 'calmed' (to dull the engines response to your throttle input) the butterfly asked to shut up to 40% on full throttle gearshifts, and plenty of timing is being reduced under different conditions by the 'Torque Tags' (actually known as Torque Requestors). The good news is that while a whole 'computer/interceptor' thing will have very little effect, a good tune of the factory computer using 'Edit' should be able to give the Turbo Territory its 13 second head :)

Stock the desired boost of the system Turbo Terry is 5psi @ 5500rpm :spoton:

The speed limiter is 210km/h :fool:

The cam angle is advanced as all get out till 4000rpm (bad) :yeahyeah:

and the OBD emission control has been tightened to throw the check light the moment you touch the exhaust :fool:

All fixed in one tune :gooff:

How strong is the running gear?

My XR6T 6sp manual was ok with the APSII kit although needed a better clutch I feel.

The 5 speeds were breaking and the autos need beefing up if I remember.

My question is, how is the AWD system going to cope over a long term??
