The advanced settings were in - Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Advanced Timing SettingsI had to make the Screen Size 640 x 480 and that would give me a good picture, however, when I restarted the carputer it always went back to the split screen. qwigybo said: I will have to bite the bullet and buy the arcade vga cardI wish I had just done this from the start!! qwigybo Member 288 Member For: 19y Location: bendigo home of SFA Posted 28/07/06 06:57 PM Share Posted 28/07/06 06:57 PM (edited) ok I spent about 4hrs playing with the settings on the gf2 last night, I have it displaying nicely, only problem I have it that I have to use the mouse to scroll around to see the whole desktop.... seems to be "oversized" for a full desktop display on the screen. those wanting to use an nvidia card I used the following settings in the advanced timing.horizonal pixels: front: 40 back: 56 sync pol: - front-end: 480 sync width: 64vertical lines: front: 5 back: 15 sync pol: - front-end: 240 sync width: 3refresh rate: 60.054can you remember what settings you used for the gf4 panda, from memory you managed to get the full screen to display Edited 28/07/06 07:07 PM by qwigybo Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26404-car-computer-to-icc/page/2/#findComment-413986 Share on other sites

Do you use a Laptop or a desktop type computer? and if using a desktop do you just run lines which are long enough to the boot or something??2. Is there some like connector at the back of the ICC where you plug the cable in, once made. Similar to the AUX cable (which I got installed)3. to get sound do you run the AUX from the carputer right??4.Once the cable is done, do you just plug it all in ie. into the computer monitor output and into the ICC?? then obviously change the settings via control panel for video (as stated above)I am in NZ so yeah I haven't heard of anyone do this before in a BA.Thanks for your help mate Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26404-car-computer-to-icc/page/2/#findComment-415486 Share on other sites

Similar to the AUX cable (which I got installed)The AUX connector you are talking about is what the audio goes to, the video goes into the DVD / SatNav plug on the ICC (only in the Premium Audio) xr6turbs said: to get sound do you run the AUX from the carputer right??Yep xr6turbs said: Once the cable is done, do you just plug it all in ie. into the computer monitor output and into the ICC?? then obviously change the settings via control panel for video (as stated above)I don't want to over-simplify the install, but yeah, that's about it xr6turbs said: I am in NZ so yeah I haven't heard of anyone do this before in a BA.I was surprised to find that many people have done this before.
